Oh today is a leap year. Happy Birthday Naz!

Yesterday was just a wasted day. Nicely wasted. I was cleaning up the kitchen when Zhong called and hurrah lunch out and ohh a movie. The Leap Years. It was a real soppy show good for people who loves crying. Oh before that she went to buy her huge lollipop (which made her mouth turn horrifyingly blue) and she mistook a customer for an employee. How funny.

Love soppy stories nowadays.

Anyway today went to Kovan to teach Lynn Tan and Kovan, on a Friday afternoon, has THE most peculiar characters. We got a horse-riding-lookalike, a beng wearing different coloured pants (like one side is black and the other is white), a person who looked like a rebellious monk, a guy with FUNNY crepe looking hair in the middle (the sides were gone), a woman who goes jiggly when she walked and you can see her panties cause her tights weren't opaque, and oh I don't know, just really randomly weird people. Lynn kept forgetting to root the variance for Normal Disribution I so want to smack her. Lol.

Busy busy weekends. Next week too. Competition in a week's time.

Hello! Mocks are on this week and it's mother tiring. Plus teaching really take a toll until I was down with that slight fever and stupid runny nose. Tomorrow is my last paper, next week is break for me, hurrah!

I've watched Juno last week with Zhong. Funny movie! And P.S I Love You. That was a seriously romantic show. Oh while waiting for the movie to start there was this trailer of a movie called The Other Boelyn Girl which was a book I read before. So I gabbled out the ending to Syahril and I got a nice slap. Haha how mean.

I got to eat Swensen's at airport last Friday ((:

School is school, made a new friend who's going to study with me. How nice! She's from I-don't-know-where, Maldives or something. But most importantly SHE'S SMART LA. So it's time to sap away her brain juices and install it in mine.

KAT START STUDYING CAN.

I had busy busy weekends; the attempt to study, teaching, shopping (necessary shoppings like anti-virus softwares -.-) out with family. My parents brought me to Earle Swensen on the Saturday for dinner and it's really good. Like really, really good. Different menu from the normal Swensen's. Have added things. And the four of us shared an Earthquake. That's the most fun I had with them in this year. My relationship with my parents are so far good and going up. The one with my brother is up-and-down. We walked around Vivo after that and parents were being real fun. And mum wanted to take the monorail to Sentosa lucky we managed to talk her out of it.

Sunday I met Mazni! To teach Econs. While teaching Math is sometimes, frankly speaking, a challenging task for the brain, Econs is a very tiring subject for the mouth. I felt like I was giving lectures at the void deck.

I can't sleep early of late. Which really annoys me because I'll be exhausted in the day, especially for my exams.

I've been traveling around too much. To eat chicken rice at Geylang and all the most peculiar places.

I hate adult fare.

Adel has a penchant for pots and pans (she loves cooking -.-) but horror of horrors she brought home a VASE from Bangkok that is half her height and twice the width. What the fuck? I'm sure she isn't human.

Ok I'm going out soon for lunch. Last paper tomorrow, I can do it!

These days I'd be rudely awaken with either a message of phone call. That's not the point. The point is, a most horrid headache would ensue. Ah you know how it spoils your day. If only I could wake up like Snow White with all butterflies and squirrels (and I bet she doesn't have headaches) around her. MAN this sucks.

Maybe I should change pillow?

I'm finally meeting Adel and she's cooking me lunch, hurrah for free lunch. She said it'll be fish and chips? Good enough. I was so hellbent on eating chicken rice yesterday that I pit stopped at Geylang for it. Such heaven. I'll eat that for early dinner today. It's so nice!

I want to catch Juno and Sya canceled on me today cause she's got a huge pimple on her nose. Wtf! Haha ok I don't know about vain people but I know I'm not one to care ;p God let's just hope Zhong haven't watch it yet and is willing to watch with me on Thursday.

NEXT WEEK IS MOCKS LEH.

It is really bad to sleep and sleep ad not want to get out of bed. Sigh.

I only had one tuition slot today. Good news is Mazni my adik from TK (we still keep in contact for four years plus plus) will be having Economics tuition with me ((: Another new O Level student starting in two weeks time. Does wonders to my income. For a full-time student (I feel like a part-time student though -.-) I think I have quite an amount of monthly allowance.

Anyway my friend Pandiya held his wedding reception today. He's gotten married! Haha I'm so happy for him he's such a nice guy. It's sweet how he met his wife Deviya. Through the net. She in India he in Singapore and there - they got hitched.

If only things were that simple for all of us haha!

I'm dying to meet Adela for the sole reason of that HEAVENLY SECRET SHE REFUSES TO TELL ME ON THE PHONE. Dammit I hate it when my curiosity get the better of me -.-
And also movie (JUNO!!!) to watch next week. I haven't met certain people for quite a while. AND OMG HEAVENLY SECRET NUMBER 2: ZHENGYONG LIKES (insert name). Omg omg it came as a surprise hahaha his choice in girls are... not bad. But they are mostly attached. Lol.

Haha I found out one thing I had in common with Lynn: Both people we truly truly love/like didn't message us.

How sad, no?

After getting over my internet paranoia (my computer is still without anti-virus hence the paranoia I can't STAND viruses they so suck ballzzz), here I am, plugged into the most dangerous place on earth; the internet.

Anyway I feel like such a laze this week was such a waste (the week has not yet end but I FEEL it being wasted, down the bloody drain). Once again my priorities were wrongly set and academically I have wasted a very precious week.

God if only You made me a nerd, life would be so much better.

My mum's been quite sick, plagued by the coughing bug and what not. And she always sleep late. She's not the only one sleeping late. I spent so much time berating at a student who slept at 1 almost every night (other nights she slept later). Seriously sufficient sleep is THE most important thing.

Yesterday was Valentine's whatnot. Just a normal day. Which I woke up at 1130. Getting more decadent nowadays. Anyway had to rush rush rush to teach (it's a good teaching day yesterday) then off to grandma's. Where he then whisked me awayyy to One Fullerton for coffee by the river ((: Wow. Haha and the Singapore Flyer (I think that's what it's called) was lit up and it's a windy cooling evening just about perfect for walks, which we did till Boat Quay. Or whatever it's called. There's this stretch where there were full of lesbians please. Lol!

Good dinner at Hyatt and surprisingly at my request the chef at the Indian section made me a cheese naan! ((: Sent me home.

And now Hamz just told me I can play Team Fortress and CS online. Yes! Hope I can pawn him.

GAMES GALOREE!

I was quite taken aback when Sir Juffri messaged me last Saturday morning at o235 hours saying that his wife passed away. Ok maybe not unexpected but the it was a bit sudden. I knew she had cancer, and I know at this moment he's as sad as anything (obviously right). And what about his two kids?
I need to pay the Room a visit with the rest.

I met up with Syahril and Hamzah on Saturday for Sweeney Todd and dinner. All the usual funny shenanigans of theirs. The food at I-don't-know-what-the-name-is was good.

Sunday was stay home slack sleep all that laziness.

Today was a Me day, having Me time, having Me company. How I love hahah. Sometimes one just need to be alone. I walked Bugis, Bras Basah to find their math assessments, Simlim for Orange Box (I bought, yay), fish soup noodle (the cook forgot to add in milk -.-) and alas it's a shame I didn't get to go to dessert shop with Me. It was quite fun, I know people think I'm crazy to eat alone and walk alone but hell it's fun (:

I'm going to have to go for tuition in half and hour or so and I can sample the Orange Box for a while before I leave. Tonight my cousin Dzul is going off to Aussie for studies all the best to him!

"As I started to picture the trees in the storm, the answer began to dawn on me. The trees in the storm don't try to stand up straight and tall and erect.
They allow themselves to bend and be blown with the wind. They understand the power of letting go. Those trees and those branches that try too hard to stand up strong and straight are the ones that break.
Now is not the time for you to be strong, Julia, or you, too, will break."

Chinese New Year = Holiday thank the trillions of Chinese people out there for quite a long holiday man what would we do without long holidays?

Tuesday and Wednesday were THE most laziest day of bumming at home playing chess, Hitman, solitaire, watching redundant shows and had bits of tuition here and there. In an attempt to scare me, Fifa called my phone and supposedly breathed down heavily (more like blowing air at the receiver). Since I suggested that I did that to her last night, she tried to pull my stunt on me.
How scary, really.

Today I saw down and surf the channels (how one can have 50+ channels and not have anything fun to watch is beyond me) and decided on CNN (exciting choice). There's this big hooha on Super Tuesday; election preliminaries at the US. I pretty much summed up what politicians are all about: Charismatic, very fluent in their speeches and are simply... inspiring. Though most of them were saying about the few same things like stopping the war with Iraq, better health care, raising teacher's salaries (for Obama that is) and for most of the Republicans, taxing more of the rich less of the poor if I'm not wrong. Don't know, it's just nice to hear them talk.

Then head to town for late lunch and a really hilarious movie Ah Long Pte Ltd. It's lame funny lots of laugh. I'm going to catch Sweeney Todd, P.S I Love You, and Leap Years. Oh AND MEET THE SPARTANS. I was never a movie buff guess I just started out.

Anyway I'm so sleeping soon. I must have a pig system in me that says I need more than 7 hours of sleep. God the horror of becoming Naz. So scary.

Yesterday was a very different day. And it's hell loads of fun. I'm too lazy to give a blow by blow account.

Went to Batam, and to Anissa Salon. God their first impression sucked. You know, when our van brought us in front of this very... well dilapidated for a salon, we all went what the fuck but when they brought us to the back we were bowled over. It's damn awesome. In the span of 6 hours they attacked my face (especially the black heads) my toenails fingernails, massaged and scrubbed every little inch of skin I have (no kidding about this), got steamed, hair got washed etc. Was such an experience (a cheap one at that). We were thinking of dropping by next month and every month or a month and a half for that matter.

I nearly walked out of tuition on Thursday because I was mightily irritated and whatnots. I met my sayang Fana before that and gotten a free lunch ((: I also met Mazni after the horrid tuition session for Economics and hurrah most probably she'll be my first Economics student. We saw pornography under the void deck, cats with huge black balls and misbehaving madrasah students. She's so much love! Went to fetch the sick one in a cab and had chicken rice at Geylang. Best chicken rice in town! And walked in rounds and rounds after that. We were doing British accents and he can pull it off amazingly well, for someone with blocked nose a fever and delirious to boot. I'm a hopeless at it.

Friday was... school in the morning. God to start off the day with matrices on the board was simply torturing. Horrid. Disgusting. I have never like matrices, and no danger of me falling head over heels with it now. Echelon forms discriminants just went in and out my ear. And I was horrible sleepy that I passed tutorial to sleep at home. Hardly the most responsible thing of the year. Shouldn't have slept so late. Ha. Then met Hamzah to go Simlim (again) to get me a keyboard and browsed through games. I bought Hitman: Blood Money for 19$ such a steal. I'll buy an anti-virus and the Orange Box only at the end of February. Hold out! Went for late lunch, then favourite dessert shop. The fish soup noodle at the coffee shop was good, but nothing could contest Parkway Banquet's. Topman shopping at Bugis. No size, so we went Marina Square's outlet and he got something. Haha it was such a rush to Victoria Concert Hall with Nadz. The SMU band was seriously good. And the conductor was very very animated. It was a latin-themed concert. It's quite a light concert and upbeat as well. The student conductor sang Sway as the band played it. They even had a percussion-with-bins performance, very much alike Drumline. But it's good! 15 February there's one by SSO. So watching!

I didn't study yesterday. So I'm going to start now. Working hard now so I won't rush when exam nears.

I'm good at playing pretend, but I still can't pretend that I got over you.
